Welcome to OutTakingPictures - photography has been a passion of mine for the past thirty-some years. During this time I have enjoyed taking pictures of just about everything.
While there has been times were I have focused on different subjects and styles, I have realized that there has always been a common theme that draw me to photography in the first place and why it still remains a passion for me today.
Beyond the cameras and gear, which I have acquired my fair share of over the years, it is the simple fact that photography gets you out and about, experiencing different events and traveling to many places.
Whether it is just a beautiful day, a perfect storm, a local event, a historic landmark, or a wonderful landscape you want to experience, photography is often the excuse to pick yourself up and get out there.
